Just when things were starting to feel a bit quieter on the Prince Harry front, the royal did another promotional interview for his autobiography Spare last week, and with it came a slew of new revelations about his life in the royal family.
In the chat with physician, trauma expert and bestselling author Gabor Maté, which was livestreamed by Penguin to those who had bought a £19 ticket, Harry talked yet again about his complex relationship with his father, the fact that he thinks his wife Meghan “saved” him and his joy at “breaking free” from the shackles of his former life.
But in an exclusive chat with OK!, royal expert and editor of Majesty magazine Ingrid Seward tells us that some of Harry’s claims “don’t tally” with her own observations of the royal family, who she has been writing about for more than 40 years. Ingrid thinks that while Harry “believes” what he’s saying is true, some of his comments are very “confused” – such as his claims that he doesn’t want to be seen as a victim.
“He says one thing then he says another,” she says. “He’s very contradictory.”
