FERNE McCANN PROUDLY INTRODUCES OK! TO HER NEWEST BUNDLE OF JOY, FINTY FRANCIS
GEMMA MCCARTNEY
'I'D HAVE ANOTHER BABY TOMORROW'

Walking into Ferne McCann’s beautiful four-bedroom Essex home is like entering a zen temple – it’s hard to believe just six days earlier, the former TOWIE star gave birth to her second child here.

Welcoming us into her pristine open-plan kitchen and dining room, there is a sense of calm with the neutral decor and peaceful atmosphere. We spot her doting partner Lorri Haines gently cradling their newborn baby girl, while the mum-of-two carefully goes through the rail of dresses in preparation for our exclusive photoshoot.

“We’re all just so happy,” the 32-year-old beams as we congratulate her on her bundle of joy “She’s such a chilled-out girl,” adds Ferne, as her eldest daughter Sunday bounces on the trampoline outside.

After a tour of their baby’s “calming” and “tranquil” nursery full of floating balloons, giraffe pictures and children’s books, we coo over the new addition, who they say looks a mix of Sunday and Lorri. And when we start chatting to the smitten couple, we tell them we’re desperate to find out the name.

“Finty Francis Haines-McCann,” Ferne announces to the room. While we knew her chosen name was highly unlikely to be in the top 10 of most popular baby names, Finty is one we’ve not heard before.

“It was on my name list when I gave birth to Sunday,” she explains. “I don’t know where I got it from, but when I typed it in [on Google] I saw Judi Dench’s daughter’s nickname is Finty. I’ve always loved it and never heard it anywhere else before.
