They “exchanged vows” during the 2019 Love Island finale – declaring their love for each other and promising to spend the rest of their lives together. And now Molly- Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are planning their nuptials for real, following Tommy’s romantic proposal in Ibiza last week.
The loved-up couple, who welcomed their adorable daughter Bambi in January, celebrated their fourth anniversary last month. Tommy surprised his social- media-star girlfriend with an unexpected appearance while she was on a business trip to Paris, whisking her off to Disneyland with baby Bambi in tow.
And boxer Tommy had a far grander plan up his sleeve – to give Molly-Mae a wedding proposal the pair would never forget. Surrounded by thousands of roses, atop a cliff 180 metres above the Balearic island’s stunning Mediterranean coastline, an emotional Tommy – holding six-monthold Bambi in his arms – asked Molly-Mae to be his wife.
The smitten couple, both 24, delighted fans by announcing the happy news of their engagement on Instagram, jointly posting cinematic-style black and white footage of the idyllic scene, captioned “Forever. 23/07/23”.
The video, which was similar in style to that of the couple’s touching pregnancy announcement in September, accumulated a staggering 3 million “likes” within less than 24 hours online.
Former PrettyLittleThing creative director Molly-Mae later revealed she’d initially believed she was jetting off on a work trip to the partygoers hotspot. Tommy had cleverly fabricated a branding event overseas, even going as far as to send fake emails and invites to MollyMae, then offering to tag along with their daughter for company.
