While the rest of us spend our Bank Holidays at the garden centre or in front of the barbecue, the sporty Tindalls use them to indulge their passion for everything outdoorsy.
The Queen’s granddaughter Zara, 41, took part in the Wellington Horse Trials last weekend, looking right at home in the saddle of her beloved Classicals Euro Star (Casper) on the final day of the competition.
But it was Zara and husband Mike’s middle daughter Lena who really caught everyone’s attention. Four-year-old Lena showed off her confident side as she was held upside down by a family friend, before doing a forward roll through her legs and attempting a few headstands.
Lena, who was sporting blue butterfly face paint, later took the family’s pet pooch for a stroll around the paddock.
The energetic youngster, who appeared to be making the most of the final weeks of the school summer holidays, was also snapped chatting to her sporty mum and looking delighted when Zara allowed her to have a go on her iPhone.
