'MY KIDS ARE MY PRIDE AND JOY - MY REASON FOR EVERYTHING'

From raising five kids under the age of 16 and keeping her 5.9 million Instagram followers up to date on her latest DIY projects, to being a panellist on Loose Women and hosting hit BBC home-decluttering series Sort Your Life Out, Stacey Solomon certainly has her hands full.

But the 34-year-old, who is also stepmum to husband Joe Swash’s 16-year-old son Harry, isn’t taking her foot off the pedal any time soon and when OK! sits down for an exclusive chat with the busy star, she’s keen to talk about her latest collection with George Home for Asda and how she’s found the perfect work/life balance.

“It’s all about working as a team,” explains Stacey, who is mum to Zachary, 15, Leighton, 11, Rex, four, Rose, two and one-year-old Belle.

“Joe is doing the school run today, so I’ve got a bit of a breather.”

Our catch-up also gives us the opportunity to find out more about her recent fitness journey as Stacey has been working extremely hard behind the scenes in a bid to feel and look stronger.

Here, the former X Factor star talks about who she can rely on when things get a bit much, why she’ll never take anything in life for granted and why Joe will always be her biggest supporter…

Hi, Stacey. How are you? How was your family camper van holiday in Scotland?

We loved it, but don’t get me wrong, it was hard work and we nearly killed each other a few times [laughs]. We were in the middle of nowhere and sleeping in car parks but we laughed a lot. Scotland itself was unbelievable, I’ve been loads of times – my aunt lives there and so does my son’s dad – but we’d never travelled that far north before.
