They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and that’s certainly the case with Katie Price’s 15-year-old daughter Princess.
The mother and daughter duo bear a striking resemblance to each other as they pose for photographs during our exclusive shoot, so it’s no surprise Princess is now following in her mum’s footsteps by embarking on her own modelling career.
“I can absolutely see Princess being a successful model – she’s stunning,” Katie tells us, bursting with pride as we join them at her home in Horsham, West Sussex.
She adds, “And I will always be there to support and guide her. I know when agents are taking advantage, so I would always step in if I felt something wasn’t right for her. I’m a protective mother and I make sure my cubs are looked after.”
Katie, 44 – who is also mum to Harvey, 20, Junior, 17, Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight – reveals it’s a career path Princess has always wanted to take after joining her on photoshoots from a young age.
“She’s seen behind the scenes and experienced it from that point of view. She loves hair and make-up and I’m sure she will enjoy getting dressed up for her own shoots, which I’ll be coming along to watch as a proud mum,” she says.
Katie started modelling at the age of 17 and joined The Sun’s Page 3 in the late-90s under the name of Jordan. When it comes to the career advice she’d give her teenage daughter, Katie – who shares Princess and Junior with ex-husband Peter Andre – says, “We’ve always spoken about it as a family. As long as she takes good honest advice, whether that be from me or her dad, and stays true to herself, she’ll smash it.”
