Parents try to protect, but children always seem to know. Eight years into the 49-yearold's bitter divorce and custody battle with Brad Pitt, 61, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 18, and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne are forever caught in the middle.

EDUCATION DISPUTE
The couple had very different ideas on how to parent post-split, for example. One newly surfaced March 2020 filing references recommendations made in November 2019 by the former couple's parenting-plan coordinator.
At the time, Zahara and Shiloh were facing serious medical issues-Angelina wrote in an essay for Time that Zahara underwent multiple surgeries for an unspecified problem, while Shiloh "went under the knife for hip surgery."Despite that, their parents continued to duke it out over the kids' education.
