GEORGE CLOONEY and Brad Pitt were clearly having a blast while filming their upcoming Apple TV+ action flick, Wolves, in New York City on Jan. 30. Dressed similarly in gray pants and matching black leather jackets, the actors — who star as two lone-wolf fixers assigned to the same job — were spotted laughing and chatting behind the scenes and later cracking up while sitting together in a stunt car.
It’s been a while since fans have seen the formerly close pals together. The A-listers were practically inseparable during the early 2000s while starring in the popular Ocean’s franchise. But they grew apart amid rumors they were competing for roles and that their respective wives — Brad wed ex Angelina Jolie in August 2014 and George and Amal tied the knot less than a month later — didn’t get along. They were barely speaking for the past five years, but now, sources say they’ve found common ground again. (Brad’s rep denies Star’s story.) “Brad and George had a lengthy cooling-off period,” a source tells Star, “but they’re back to their old ways.”
