Fire-fighter action series Fire Country has been scorching TV screens with its fire-fuelled scenes and there's one actor standing heads above the rest of the cast. Billy Burke plays Cal Fire Division Chief Vince Leone, who also happens to be lead character Bode's (Max Thieriot) dad. "I've had a great relationship with Max for years and he's like a son to me," explains Billy. "Getting to work together is a lot of fun because I get to be dramatic while he's doing silly young-guy stunts."

1 The 56-year-old says that the worst thing he's ever had to do for work was for fantasy movie Twilight in 2008. "I had to grow that moustache. It was so irritating and annoying, but the directors wanted it. I shaved it off immediately after filming wrapped," he says.
2 Billy also didn't enjoy making 1999 horror movie Komodo, but it did ignite his love for travel. "Was it a good film? Not a chance. Did it win any awards? Nope. But it took me to Australia for filming and that was a great trip," says Billy.
3 The actor admits that people 3 think he's older than he really is because "I always play mature and responsible men of the community.&nbsp;The truth is that I am responsible and I like to be the person everyone turns to for help, but I play videogames and laugh at fart jokes. I'm still a kid at heart," he says.
4 His dream came true in 2018 when he was cast in the DC Superhero universe as the voice of Commissioner Gordon in the animated series Batman and Batman: The Long Halloween.
