Faith (Winnie Ntshaba) was led off in handcuffs in mid July. Word had gotten out that she had a hand in killing her husband’s late wife Busi 20 years back (offscreen). And with Faith behind bars, the Zwides are relaxed, thinking that justice was finally served. It’s like they don’t even know her!
“Faith has always been manipulative; she knows what buttons to press. So she pushes her daughter Zanele (Londeka Mchunu), especially because Zanele is the only one who’s really has been there for her while in jail. Faith convinces Zanele to raise the money for her bail on 26 July, and that’s how she gets out.” Winnie reveals. But whereas justice has failed, the spirits might succeed.
THE CHEEK OF HER!
Faith’s husband Funani (Vusi Kunene) and stepson Nkosi (Wanda Zuma) are furious when Faith arrives at home unannounced – and she’s ready to fight! “Faith realises that the men have turned their backs on her, but she’s arrogant and says that she’ll just sleep in the spare room until they’re calmer. Faith takes her lawyer with her, who reminds Funani that he’s still married to her and that legally, this is still her home too. So there’s really nothing they can do,” Winnie explains. “This woman shocks me sometimes!”
