Conniving #Ezweni media mogul Nkosiyabo Cele's (Muzi Mthabela) past has come home to roost. But it's his girlfriend Ayanda (Samela Tyelbooi), the #Ezweni COO, who has found herself at the bottom of the pecking order ever since Nkosiyabo's "old school" wife Makhumalo Cele (Gcinile Nkosi) arrived at his Johannesburg house at the end of January and immediately made him sweat and lie. Nkosiyabo complains that Makhumalo always has an agenda - as if he spends his life innocently sipping tea and nibbling biscuits! Now, what is she up to this time?
"Ayanda feels like an outsider because the Cele family does not recognize her relationship with Nkosiyabo and therefore she doesn't feel like part of the family," Samela says. Meanwhile, Muzi reveals that Nkosiyabo doesn't seem to even notice the boiling pot under his nose. "At first he is not aware of Ayanda's feelings, but then he has the realization. He is caught between a rock and a hard place given his duties to his family and his relationship with Ayanda," Muzi admits.
MAKHUMALO'S PLAN
Makhumalo didn't take long to stir trouble. We've watched her smirk as Ayanda and Nkosiyabo get into heated arguments. Gcinile explains, "They are arguing about the 'duties' placed on Nkosiyabo's shoulders; these have the potential to jeopardize his relationship with Ayanda." These are duties he's had all along, mind you, but felt comfortable sidelining until he was called to order.
