For decades, Dion has been known for her powerful voice. And although her singing career is on pause, she is now using her voice to connect with millions in a different way-by opening up about her health struggle and raising awareness for stiff person syndrome (SPS), the incurable neurological condition she suffers that has caused her to step away from the stage.

Dion announced her diagnosis with the autoimmune disorder that causes muscle stiffness and spasms in 2022. And in a recent interview with Vogue France, the singer gave an update on her health and outlook.
