There are few people in this world who are known instantly by their first name - Madonna, Beyoncé, Zendaya. And there's another whose unique moniker is testament to their A-list heritage. Suri, the daughter of Hollywood legend Tom Cruise and Dawson's Creek star Katie Holmes, grew up as one of the world's most famous children.
But as she turns 18 on April 18, it appears she has a surprisingly normal life. Raised out of the spotlight by Holmes after a much-publicised divorce from Cruise in 2012, Suri was shielded from the trappings - and pitfalls of fame. In 2023, Holmes told Glamour her need to "protect" Suri was her motherly instinct "because she was so visible at a young age".
