Just like her character Penelope Featherington in the hit period drama Bridgerton, Nicola Coughlan is shaping up as this year's diamond. But unlike Penelope, who spills The Ton's secrets through her scandal sheet she pens under the name Lady Whistledown, Coughlan likes to keep things to herself.
"I don't want to share too much of what's private and personal to me," the Irish-born actress wrote in the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar. "I try my hardest to be authentic; I'm always as truthful as I can be when I'm interviewed but, at the same time, do I want to let the world inside my home? No, I absolutely don't."
