THE ACTRESS IS FINALLY TAKING HER PLACE CENTRE STAGE - AND LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!
Virginia Gay 'MY MOST VULNERABLE'

Since she burst onto the screen as nursing unit manager Gabrielle Jaeger on All Saints in 2006, Virginia Gay has been a staple on Aussie TV screens. During her almost two-decade-long career, she’s tried her hand at everything from drama to comedy, and she’s even been known to belt out the odd tune with her powerhouse voice.

In fact, it seems like the only thing that’s been stopping the 41-year-old star being labelled as a triple threat is her lack of dance skills. That is, until now.

For the last few weeks, Gay has been wowing viewers while taking to the stage to compete for the Mirrorball Trophy on Dancing with the Stars. It’s a challenge, she explains, that is way out of her comfort zone.

“It’s definitely a really vulnerable state,” the actress tells WHO. “But I went in trying not to think of it as, ‘I could make a fool of myself.’ I thought anything I can learn here is a win for me. Mistakes are a part of learning and while there have definitely been points during the process where I’ve thought that was a foolish mistake, I’ve told myself that’s OK and moved on.”
