On completing the chapter, he asked them, "What do you want to become when you grow up?"
Shahid raised his hand and replied, "Sir, I want to become a doctor. My mother and father are both doctors. When I grow up, I also want to save others like them."
"Very good."
"Sir, I want to become a Science teacher like you and give good education to all," said Ravi.
"I will become a hero when I grow up. I like movie heroes very much," Shaurya said.
"Sir, I will become a dancer," said Niya.
"I want to become an artist," said Mayuri.
Vipul was listening to everyone attentively. One by one, all the children had expressed their dreams.
Sir asked, "Vipul, why are you sitting quietly? Tell me, what will you become when you grow up."
He stood up in his place quietly.
"Don't be afraid. Be comfortable. You also have a dream, correct?"
"S...ir...I will be...come an Astro...naut when I gr...ow up...," Vipul stammered.
Hearing him, all the students started laughing loudly.
Shaurya said, "If he becomes an astronaut, the satellite will fall to the ground even before it flies up." "Astronauts must be agile in what they do.
He cannot even speak properly. How will he work properly then?" mocked Shahid.
"You all wish to become something when you grow up. Similarly, Vipul, too, dreams of becoming an astronaut. You must not make fun of him," scolded Mohit Sir.
"Sir, what I am saying is right. He takes a lot of time to say something. While speaking, he stammers. He gets stuck so many times and cannot complete a single sentence. How will he become an astronaut?" asked Shaurya.
Vipul felt bad hearing Shaurya say this.
That was the reason why he was sitting quietly. He shared his desire because Sir had asked him to do so.
