He had no answer and remained silent. The teacher scolded him while all the other animals in the class giggled. Sam was not interested in studying.
At the end of the day, when everyone was heading home in groups, Sam walked alone with a sad face.
"What's the matter, Sam? Did you fight with someone?" Della deer asked.
"I'm just walking quietly. Why are you bothering me?" Sam retorted.
"I didn't mean to bother you. My friends and I are talking and having fun. I just thought you might want to join us," said Della, with a smile.
"I don't need to be told what to do," Sam said, and in a fit of rage, he pushed Della who fell.
Peppy pig helped her up and asked, "Are you hurt?"
"No, I'm fine. What's wrong with Sam? Why is he always angry?" asked Della.
"You shouldn't have spoken to him at all. He's always fighting with everyone and hardly comes to school," Peppy added.
Sam quickly walked away after hitting Della. He always seemed to get into trouble with someone or the other. Whenever something bothered him, he chose to be angry rather than find a solution to his problem.
Peppy and Della were thinking of a way to teach him a lesson without fighting, but they didn't want to trouble them as he was so strong and aggressive.
One Sunday, Della went for a walk with her parents, and they passed by a wonderful house with a boundary wall made of thick steel sheets. It was so shiny that they could see their reflections in it.
