The other day, while he was making a new paper boat, he looked out of the window and saw that it was raining heavily. It had been raining for days and there was water everywhere.
The streets were flowing like a river. He saw some crows having fun in the water, splashing it at each other. Amrit also wanted to have fun. But what can be fun in this weather?
"We can play with your paper boats," said Mansi dipping a yummy bread pakora in the ketchup. Mansi lived next door but was almost always hanging around at Amrit's place. Just then, there was a knock at the door.
"It sure is Danny," said Mansi stuffing her mouth with the bread pakora.
Amrit opened the door, and it was indeed Danny. He also lived in the same building but on the top floor. He said he was totally bored sitting at home, "Let's do something fun."
"But what can we do in this weather?" asked Amrit, still holding his paper boat.
Danny and Mansi looked at each other and laughed, "Paper boats. Make some for us as well."
"I can teach you how to make a paper boat," said Amrit, "And then we can have a boat race to see whose boat goes far and remains for long in the water!"
