"But, Ma'am, we don't even know what 'Constitution' is," Jumpy monkey interrupted.
"Okay, let's do a simple exercise. Today, we will create the constitution of our class. I won't be involved; it's up to all of you," Miss Della said.
Hearing this, the animals looked at each other in confusion, wondering what they had to do.
Clearing the confusion, Miss Della said, "Don't worry! You simply need to create some rules for your class to run smoothly."
Cheeku rabbit immediately replied,
"That's pretty straightforward. I can suggest some rules like..."
"Cheeku, hold on! We need someone to write the rules. Who will take up that task?" Miss Della asked.
"Ma'am, Blacky bear writes beautifully. He should be given that responsibility," Sally squirrel suggested.
"Sally, you're right! Blacky can handle that," Miss Della agreed
The animals were eager to contribute to the creation of the class Constitution. It quickly turned into a game for them.
Cheeku said, "Ma'am, the first rule should be maintaining discipline in the class. Anyone who violates the rules should be punished."
"Do you all agree with Cheeku?" Miss Della asked.
"Yes, Ma'am," the animals replied together.
"So, that becomes the first rule of your class constitution," Miss Della announced.
Then Jumpy said, "Ma'am, no one should litter the classroom."
"Ma'am, if a student makes a mess, there should be consequences; otherwise, it will become a habit. They should clean up the mess," Sally suggested.
"You're absolutely right, Sally. That student should clean the entire class if they make a mess," Jumpy added.
"Do you all agree with Jumpy that the student should clean the entire class?" Miss Della asked.
"No, Ma'am, that punishment would be too harsh. I believe the student should only clean up their mess," said Cheeku.
