Wuffy said, "I have to win the interschool race that will be held at school on Teacher's Day. I'll go home now and get ready. We'll meet at school."
Saying this, Wuffy ran back towards his home. His mother had prepared a breakfast of milk and carrots for him. Wuffy quickly got ready after having breakfast and ran to school. Like him, many children in the school were practicing for the race, and they could be seen running in the forest early in the morning.
Wuffy aimed to win the race on Teacher's Day and receive the prize from the chief guest, athlete Chapal Cheetah.
In the school corridor, Wuffy met the school Principal Hattu Elephant, who asked him, "Tell me, Wuffy, how are your preparations for the race going? Many children from other schools will also participate. Tomorrow, there will be a final selection to determine who will represent our school in the race."
Wuffy replied, "My preparations are going very well, sir. I hope to participate on behalf of the school."
The principal said, "Best of luck! Let's see what happens tomorrow."
When Wuffy returned home after school, he felt a bit tired. However, he disregarded this, and after completing his homework, he headed out for running practice. But he realized that he was not able to run as usual.
Arriving at Blackie's house, he was exhausted. Blackie was enjoying some honey bread outside. Upon seeing Wuffy, he inquired, "What's wrong, Wuffy?"
Wuffy said, "I'm feeling a bit unwell."
Blackie invited him inside. Blackie's mother made him a nice cup of tea. Wuffy didn't have the energy to return home. Blackie's mother called Dr. Jackal.
Wuffy said to Dr. Jackal, "Please give me something to reduce my fever so I can run tomorrow."
Dr. Jackal said, "I don't think you'll be able to run tomorrow. If you push yourself, your health will become worse." Saying this, he prescribed some medicine.
