On arrival at the property, I was guided to the circular rock clad reception area - this gives you the feel of entering an old fort with modern amenities - an eclectic mix of the old with the new.

After a welcome drink and "tikka", the check-in formalities were completed and I was escorted to my suite which overlooked the swimming pool and the vast expanse of the lush green lawns with hills stretching beyond my home for the next 2 days.
