THE ORIGINS OF BROADCASTING AND STREAMING

The technology is based on transmitting audio and video signals over the airwaves, accessible through radio or TV antennas, and later via cable networks. It involves the transmission of data in real-time, allowing users to access content ondemand through connected devices. Platforms like YouTube (2005) and Netflix’s streaming service (2007) pioneered this space, offering an alternative to cable and satellite broadcasting.
