For some of us, flirting comes naturally. For the rest of us (this writer included), our skills are subpar at best. It's difficult making and maintaining eye contact or showing interest for different reasons - including being afraid of making a fool of ourselves. But guess what? Turns out, being average at attempting to get someone's attention is what's trending on the relationship bandwagon. There's even a name for it: micro-flirting. As the name suggests, the term is something like the little sister of big flirting - a more subtle way of establishing contact; dating foreplay, so to say.
