NEW ANIMATION
Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget From Friday 15 December, Netflix
It’s been over two decades since a plucky group of hens broke out of their high-security poultry farm in the much-loved movie Chicken Run – the most successful stop-motion animation in cinema history.
The 2000 film won rave reviews and made Bristol’s Aardman studios famous around the world. Now, in a long-awaited movie sequel, Ginger, Rocky and their pals are faced with a terrifying new farm – and this time they’re breaking in!
Last time we saw the feathered friends, they’d escaped from the evil Mrs Tweedy and her chicken-pie machine to live happily on an island sanctuary. As we catch up with Ginger and Rocky, they are welcoming the arrival of their chick Molly.
