Dreamland
Thursday, 9pm, Sky Atlantic (box set, Sky Box Sets & NOW)
Things are looking up for Trish (Freema Agyeman) at the start of Sky Atlantic’s new comedy drama Dreamland. Already a mum to two young boys, she’s pregnant again and determined to have a daughter this time.
To ensure that the universe is aligned with her plans, she’s invited her family and friends to a pink-themed event to ‘manifest’ a girl. However, her party is thrown off course by an unexpected arrival – her younger sister Mel (Lily Allen), who’s back from a long spell living in Paris to rejoin the rest of her family in Margate. Their sisters Clare (Gabby Best) and Leila (Aimee Ffion Edwards) are delighted that the four siblings are back together, but Trish is noticeably less enthusiastic.
