Criminal Record
From Wed 10 Jan, Apple TV+ (first two eps from 10 Jan, then weekly)
A dangerous tug of war over a historic murder case turns two London detectives into bitter rivals in gritty new thriller Criminal Record, featuring former Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi and The Good Fight's Cush Jumbo.
Created by Vera writer Paul Rutman, the eight-part series follows up-and-coming, razorsharp DS June Lenker (Jumbo), who's assigned to look into an anonymous call to emergency services, which could shed new light on an old murder case.
But when June questions the officer who investigated at the time, Daniel Hegarty (Capaldi), she hits a brick wall.
