NEW DRAMA Until I Kill You Sun-Wed, 9pm, ITV1 (box set, ITVX)
The shocking true story of nurse Delia Balmer and her narrow escape from her serial-killer boyfriend is retold in the chilling drama Until I Kill You, starring Ludwig's Anna Maxwell Martin and Endeavour actor Shaun Evans.
As the four-parter begins, Balmer is a free spirit who loves travel. She thinks she's met her soulmate in itinerant carpenter and amateur artist John Sweeney after the pair meet in a London pub in 1991, and soon, he moves into her flat.
What she doesn't know is that Sweeney murdered his ex-girlfriend and dumped her body in a Netherlands canal - and the nurse is terrified when Sweeney blurts out his crime during a violent attack on her that follows increasingly controlling behaviour.
