Paula Malcomson, star of Ray Donovan and Broken, is once again steeped in complicated and emotional family trauma in ITV1’s six-part crime drama Redemption.
She plays DI Colette Cunningham, a fearless, no-nonsense cop with the Merseyside Police Serious Crime Squad, whose life is turned upside down when she gets a call from the Garda in Dublin telling her they’ve found the body of a young woman and she’s listed as the next of kin.
From the description, Colette realises the dead woman is her estranged daughter Stacey.
