Jeff Goldblum and Janet McTeer are scheming Greek gods in a darkly comic fantasy drama
OLYMPUS GAMES

Hollywood royalty Jeff Goldblum and Janet McTeer join forces for Netflix’s new fantasy-drama series Kaos, with the actors combining their considerable star power to play the vengeful Zeus and his wife Hera – king and queen of the Greek gods.

Created by Charlie Covell (The End of the F***ing World), the eightparter opens with the all-powerful, leisurewear-loving Zeus living his best life on Mount Olympus – until he discovers a wrinkle on his forehead. The arrival of this fateful line sparks more than an immortal midlife crisis, however, as it heralds an ancient prophecy that foretells Zeus’ fall from power, and he starts seeing omens of doom everywhere.

When his wife (also his sister!) Hera initially dismisses his concerns, Zeus turns to his best pal and greatest rival Prometheus (Game of Thrones’ Stephen Dillane) for reassurance – but it’s a move that could prove to be his undoing.

Prometheus isn’t the only one Zeus needs to be wary of. It soon emerges Hera is keeping an explosive secret, while his wayward son Dionysus (Nabhaan Rizwan) is messing with the structure of the world, and mortal duo Orpheus (Killian Scott) and Riddy (Aurora Perrineau) are connected to the unfolding events in surprising ways.
