Starstruck
Saturday, 8.30pm, ITV1
When soundalike show Starstruck returns to ITV1 this week, singers will be desperate not to hear the words, ‘That don’t impress me much,’ as Canadian country-music icon Shania Twain joins the panel.
The Grammy-winning hitmaker – also known for Man! I Feel like a Woman! and You’re Still the One – will take her seat alongside three returning judges, Queen frontman Adam Lambert, soul singer Beverley Knight and West End star Jason Manford, as, each week, four teams of three superfans are transformed into their favourite music idols.
‘I’ve been pleasantly surprised over and over again by what I’ve seen,’ says Twain, 57. ‘There have been lots of great vocalists and some great impersonations.’
