Richard Madden wowed audiences in BBC1’s political thriller Bodyguard and he’s once again in the thick of the action, alongside Quantico’s Priyanka Chopra Jonas, in Prime Video’s new spy thriller Citadel.

They play Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh, lovers and agents for Citadel – a multinational spy agency charged with keeping the world safe – who are lured into a deadly trap set by villainous global network Manticore. They survive only to lose touch with each other after their memories are erased.

For eight years, Mason and Nadia build new lives, unaware of their pasts, until they’re tracked down by their old Citadel colleague Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci). Manticore boss Dahlia Archer (Lesley Manville) has launched a new plan for world domination and, after jogging Mason and Nadia’s memories, Bernard sends them on a globe-spanning mission to stop her.
