Jump aboard for another slice of sun, sea, singing and sinister mysteries as Channel 5’s popular crime caper The Good Ship Murder sets sail for a second series this week.
The new seven-episode run begins with the luxury cruise ship in Italy, where former detective turned cabaret singer Jack Grayling (played by Shayne Ward) and First Officer Kate Woods (Catherine Tyldesley) are busy juggling their work duties and navigating their fledging romance with enjoying the sights of Rome.
But, unfortunately, the beautiful city proves to be the final destination for one of their passengers, opera singer Alessandro Bartoli (Greg Canestrari). Can Jack and Kate catch the killer?
Here, in an exclusive interview, former Corrie co-stars Shayne, 40, and Catherine, 41, tell TV Times why the new series is set to be oceans of fun…
So, how excited are you both to be back for a second outing?
