MONARCH: LEGACY OF MONSTERS
NEW FROM FRIDAY 17 NOVEMBER, APPLE TV+ DRAMA
(FIRST TWO EPISODES FROM FRIDAY 17 NOV, THEN WEEKLY)
Hollywood star Kurt Russell and his son Wyatt take centre stage in Apple TV+’s action drama Monarch: Legacy of Monsters about a decadeslong fight to save the world.
The 10-part series is a spinoff from the MonsterVerse franchise of films featuring the likes of Godzilla and King Kong, and sees Wyatt (Under the Banner of Heaven) play intrepid, wisecracking 1950s US Army lieutenant Lee Shaw.
Lee is tasked with escorting scientists Keiko (Mari Yamamoto) and Bill Randa (played by Anders Holm in the 1950s and John Goodman in the 1970s), on a mission to investigate reports of strange phenomena. But their findings prove extraordinary when dangerous creatures emerge…
