SISTER BONIFACE MYSTERIES
FRIDAY, 9PM, DRAMA DRAMA
Robert Daws finds himself on a sticky wicket in this week's instalment of Drama's popular 1960s-set whodunnit Sister Boniface Mysteries.
The plot centres on a crunch match for the Great Slaughter cricket club, of which his much-loved character, Chief Constable Hector Lowsley, is the chairman. But rather than rain stopping play, it's the murder of the star player that interrupts proceedings, and it's up to the titular sleuthing nun (Lorna Watson) to catch the killer while Hector rallies the troops to win the game and save the day! TV Times caught up with Robert, 65, who starred in ITV's The Royal with his wife Amy Robbins, for tea, cake and a team talk in the pavilion...
This week's episode is all about cricket. Do you play?
