BLOOD ACTUALLY: A MURDER, THEY HOPE MYSTERY
SATURDAY, 9PM, GOLD COMEDY
A dream getaway for newlyweds Gemma and Terry turns into the nightmare before Christmas as they find themselves investigating a string of festive-themed killings in a seasonal special of Gold's popular crime caper Murder, They Hope.
The story sees the hapless investigators (Sian Gibson and Johnny Vegas) arrive in a quaint but mysterious village filled with eccentric characters (played by guest stars including Anita Dobson, Jane Horrocks, Martin Kemp, Rosie Cavaliero and Robert Webb). But events soon take a sinister twist when local residents due to take part in the annual Santa parade are bumped off one by one...
If that wasn't enough to deal with, Gemma's man-eating mum Patricia (Sherrie Hewson) and obnoxious sister Monica (Sarah Hadland) turn up, too!
TV Times caught up with Sarah, 52, to find out more...
