Aneeshwar Kunchala charmed the nation on the 2022 series of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, auditioning with a heartfelt poem about the importance of looking after our planet.
Judge Amanda Holden said the Warrington schoolboy was ‘the perfect person to follow in David Attenborough’s footsteps’, and now the conservationist is doing exactly that as he stars in a climate-change documentary for Sky Kids, Save Our Wildlife.
‘I wouldn’t say BGT made me super-famous, but it’s helped me spread the word that we need to save our animals,’ says eight-year-old Aneeshwar.
Here, in an exclusive interview, he chats to TV Times about the one-off special…
Why did you want to make this documentary?
If we don’t stop polluting the world and change how we use plastic, it might mean the end for some beautiful creatures. We might lose them for ever. We can’t let that happen!
