FOR HER SINS
MONDAY-THURSDAY, 9PM, CHANNEL 5 DRAMA
The cracks in a woman’s seemingly perfect life are ruthlessly exploited by her charismatic new best friend who has a dangerous hidden agenda in Channel 5’s psychological thriller For Her Sins, with all four episodes showing this week.
Successful lawyer Laura Conroy (Ackley Bridge’s Jo Joyner) feels under pressure and unsupported raising her young children, Eliza and Elliot, on her own while her husband, Rob (Holby City’s Duncan Pow), is regularly abroad for work. One day, Eliza has a meltdown at school drop-off and a new mum at the gates, Emily Furness (All Creatures Great and Small’s Rachel Shenton), steps in to help. A relieved Laura couldn’t be more grateful and the two women become fast friends.
But as they grow closer, Laura fails to recognise she and the beguiling Emily are connected by an event in their past and that, rather than being Laura’s saviour, scheming Emily is plotting to destroy her.
TV Times joined Jo, 46, for a chat to learn more…
How does Emily manage to undermine her new friend Laura?
