Sir Lenny Henry hosts the fundraising extravaganza for the final time...
It's Red Nose Day!

It’s 39 years since Sir Lenny Henry co-founded Comic Relief, and now the star is limbering up for his last-ever stint fronting the Red Nose Day fundraising extravaganza.

Lenny’s swansong, live from Salford, sees him share hosting duties with Davina McCall, Joel Dommett, Paddy McGuinness, Romesh Ranganathan, David Tennant, Maya Jama and Rosie Ramsey. The telethon will feature hilarious sketches and musical performances to encourage us to donate to worthy causes at home and abroad.

‘The show is chock-a-block,’ says Lenny. ‘It will probably be the best night of my life as it’s my last year hosting and I know there’ll be lots of surprises.’

Comic Relief: A Whole Lotta Lenny (Friday, 10.40pm,  BBC1) celebrates  Lenny’s work for the charity and revisits his best moments
