Over the years, Emmerdale O has played host to lots of famous faces, including Wet Wet Wet singer Marti Pellow and ice-skating legends Torvill and Dean, and this week it looks like pop icon Cher has come to the Dales! Turns out, it's just Kerry Wyatt dressed as the singer. She's been sailing the high seas, working on a cruise liner since late 2022, so her daughter Amy gets a big shock when she clocks her mum in the back seat of PC Swirling's police car...
'She makes quite an entrance,' says Laura Norton, who returns as Kerry. 'She has been working as a Cher impersonator and she's in the full get-up: stockings, heels, hot pants, mesh leotard, leather jacket, and wig!' Kerry reveals how she was accused of stealing some jewellery and after being arrested, she was taken off the ship and brought back to the village by the friendly local copper.

Angry Amy's not impressed to see that her mum appears to have returned to her dodgy old ways, but Kerry assures her it's all been a big mistake and that she has come back to be with her family.
