DEATH IN PARADISE Sunday, 9pm, BBC1 Drama
Returning for its 13th series this week, BBC1's Caribbean crime drama Death in Paradise reaches its 100th episode - and it's one that leaves the police on the fictional island of Saint Marie horrified when someone shoots Commissioner Selwyn Patterson! The Commissioner is guest of honour at the local yacht club, where he's being lauded for 50 years with the police. But after slipping out to take a breather on the jetty, Selwyn (Don Warrington) is left for dead by an unknown shooter.
'There's a real urgency to this case, and everyone's nerves are a bit fraught,' explains Ralf Little, who plays DI Neville Parker. 'It's incredibly important to the whole team that justice is served.'
Guest stars in the landmark episode include Boiling Point's Cathy Tyson, and Once Upon a Time's Sean Maguire as the yacht club's caretaker manager, Marlon Collins, reprising the role he played in episode one of Death in Paradise back in 2011.
Troubled times 
'There's something neat about Sean having been in the first episode and coming back for the 100th!' says Ralf. 'What's happening more and more in the show is that previous lives are being revisited. That's exciting for audiences.' While the team have a challenge on their hands finding the culprit, there's also tension for DS Naomi Thomas (Shantol Jackson) as she deals with drunkenly kissing Officer Marlon Pryce (Tahj Miles) at the Christmas party...
'Naomi's main concern is not losing her friend,' says Shantol. 'We see her trying to navigate that, and Marlon being quite cool and casual about it while she's all over the place that was fun!'&nbsp;
