A I can’t believe it! I hosted the first Pride of Britain Awards - founded by the late Peter Willis - back in 1999. It was the first awards ceremony to be about ordinary, kind people, while keeping celebrities in the audience. Now, here we are, 25 years later.
The awards honour those who've helped their communities and triumphed over adversity, plus children of courage. Do these unsung heroes enjoy being 'stars' for the night?
