WEIGHT TO GO!

IT’S still one of the most memo rable moments of her iconic talk show: Oprah Winfrey rolling out a wagon containing 30kg of animal fat to illustrate how much weight she’d lost.

Of course, that was three dec ades ago and many of the kilos she’d shed crept back on again. But at the age of 70 Oprah finally seems to have won the fight – and new pictures of her in workout wear in Santa Barbara, California, attest to that.

Clad in leggings, a longsleeved shirt and a pair of Adidas trainers from Beyoncé’s Ivy Park collection, O looked in great shape as she headed to a gym with her friend Maria Shriver (68).

Oprah has admitted to using a weightloss drug after vowing she’d never do so. And although she hasn’t named the medication many believe it’s Ozempic or a substance similar to it.

She says it’s a “relief ” to finally have her weight under control. “It was public sport to make fun of me for 25 years,” she told People maga zine. “I’ve been blamed and shamed and I blamed and shamed myself.”

She recalls being humiliated by caustic fashion critic Mr Blackwell and put on the cover of a magazine along with the description “Dumpy, Frumpy and Downright Lumpy”.
