FOR weeks there was intense speculation about whether they were a couple. A blurred picture here, a shared rumour there. But if there was any doubt that something was going on with these two, an outing at a Beyoncé concert put paid to it.
They kept their distance when they arrived at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles for the Renaissance World Tour concert – she holding hands with her sister, he a few steps behind hiding his face under a baseball cap.
But a little later on, as Bey pumped out the hits, they started packing on the PDA, dancing closely together and having a smooch.
So it must be true then, fans said: after months of gossip and rumour, Kylie Jenner (26) and Timothée Chalamet (27) were clearly an item.
A few days later the multimillionaire cosmetics queen and the Oscar-nominated actor were spotted out again, getting all touch-feely during the finals of the US Open between Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev.
They also attended a dinner hosted by designer Haider Ackermann and skincare brand Augustinus Bader.
Neither confirmed they’re in a relationship but people in their camp say romance is blossoming. “Kylie is enjoying hanging out with Timothée and seeing where it goes,” one friend says.
“It’s been really fun for her because it feels a lot different than her past relationships. It’s new and exciting for Kylie and she’s having a lot of fun.”
But doubters will doubt, cynics will be cynical.
Some believe the lovey-doveyness is all an attempt to steer attention towards the premiere of the fourth season of her family’s Hulu show, The Kardashians.
