ELLE: Starting at the beginning, what first sparked your interest in fashion and design? Shweta Agarwal (SA): My mother was a significant source of inspiration for me. She designed and had all her outfits stitched, and watching her create something so unique and personal was truly fascinating. When I later joined a fashion school in Milan, my love for design deepened even further.
ELLE: Is there a relationship between functionality and aesthetics in your collections? SA: We create many of our styles with adaptability in mind. For example, in our most-loved Pearl Radiance Dress, the ruching detail on the body ensures a perfect, flattering fit, while the adjustable one-shoulder drape sleeve and length-adjustable slit with drawstrings add versatility and comfort. This draped design has been one of our most-loved pieces.
