Tell us about your journey into TikTok.
As a live streamer who streamed for the American and EU audience, I wanted to give vlogging a try, but it didn’t do as well as I hoped. A friend suggested TikTok, and I scoffed at the idea at first but since I’m of the philosophy of, “never try, never know”, I had no idea it would take off.
Is it possible to strike a balance between expectation and preference?
I’ve always maintained that everyone has their own preferences, and my verdict comes from whether I like the food or not, which is why I always tell people to not take everything I say as THE final verdict, you are free to give the place a try and form your own opinion.
Has your success online opened up more opportunities for you?
I’ve been staying true to myself, and I try to be honest at all times. The goofy and talkative Ceddy you see in videos is the same as you’d meet in real life. I’ve had businesses asking me to feature their businesses on my platforms to give them the publicity, I’ve been given opportunities to act in local series and appear in various local publications, including this one.
