A Step Closer to Hydrogen, the "Climate-Friendly Fuel"

One clean-burning and potentially abundant resource? Hydrogen! Hydrogen gas forms as a result of reactions between water and rock rich in iron minerals (such as olivine) within Earth's crust. Those reactions are ongoing; thus, hydrogen forms constantly by natural processes. When burned, it emits an exhaust of nothing but water.
