John and Melissa created kitchen zones to maximize space and functionality. The main kitchen zone houses the sink, cooktop and refrigerator. The serving zone features stunning floor-to-ceiling black cabinetry, wooden countertops, glass-front cabinets and a library ladder. The informal dining area is in a convenient spot just a few steps away. "We then have a coffee bar/ wine counter toward the back of the space, which is supplemental countertop and refrigeration area for added convenience," says John.
