COFFEE TABLE CANDLE
Place a seasonal arrangement in the centre of the room to draw the eye, day or night. Use a cake stand to raise a glass vase with a sturdy candle placed inside. Dress with seasonal foliage, flowers, berries and finds as the season changes.
Cake stand from a selection at Sophie Conran. Candle and vase from all good florists
LASTING DISPLAY
Create an easy arrangement with autumn foliage, flower sprigs, seedheads and berries - it will look good and last for weeks. Choose woody stems and flowers which dry stylishly, with the odd preserved sprig for stability. Cut to similar lengths and arrange. Watch them gradually dry, then gather up and hang as a bunch from the ceiling afterwards.
Jug from a selection at Sophie Conran. Preserved foliage from a selection at Dowsing & Reynolds. Paper flower, Fox Flowers
