In a collection of harmonious incongruity, FADD Studio designs a cohesive furniture store for diverse aesthetics and design languages

MIX AND MATCH

If you’ve ever shopped for furniture, you’ll know the incomparable joy of playing house inside the store. Sofas, bedrooms, dining spaces — each with a different aesthetic. You can only wish you were this spoiled with choice at home!

At Ventura Interior’s Hyderabad store, FADD Studio balances this diversity with a subdued neutral palette. Having crafted the brand’s Bengaluru store, the designers were well-versed with the experience they wanted to create.

Only this time, the space was considerably larger, creating opportunities to curate more “mini spaces.” FADD Studio even started sketching out the store by tracing the format of a home, be it a bedroom, a study, an outdoor space, a living room or a dining room. “The central courtyard and the curved walls were the starting point,” share Farah Ahmed and Dhaval Shellugar, Principal Designers of FADD Studio.
