MERCEDES-BENZ has upgraded the compact GLA SUV with numerous innovations and more extensive equipment. The new radiator grille with central Mercedes-Benz star, single louvre, and accents in black enhances the powerful character. In addition, the bonnet with discreetly suggested power domes underlines the self-confident appearance. The redesigned front bumper with visual underride protection points to the new GLA’s off road genes. The rear bumper now comes with a diffuser further accentuating the sportiness of the exterior. The front apron with simulated under-guard in silver, reinforces the confident look of the new GLA.
The new GLA boasts a modernised light signature in the form of powerful LED High Performance front headlamps equipped with Adaptive Highbeam Assist and LED rear lights. The headlamps illuminate the road with a wide beam and pleasant warm-white light much more precisely and generously. Front fog lamps spread the light widely and illuminate peripheral areas better for safer driving in difficult conditions. Mercedes-Benz is expanding the range of options with the new Spectral Blue metallic paint finish. The new GLA stands on 18-inch 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, aerodynamically optimised, painted in tremolite grey with a high-sheen finish.
Inside, the 10.25-inch free-standing double screen offers a holistic high-tech experience and enhance the open plan architecture. The refreshed multifunction sports steering wheel, which now includes new touch-control panels, is upholstered in leather.
